Case study – Pui Yee – Pets photography

For Pui Yee, photography was never part of the original plan. She was running a pet treats business, spending most of her days surrounded by dogs and cats, creating products for pet owners who wanted the best for their companions.

As her business grew, she began collaborating with a pet photographer to create promotional images. However, after working together for some time, she realized the photographs were no longer improving. The style remained the same, the quality plateaued, and there was little room for creative growth.

Case study – Annie – 1-to-1 Product photography training

Annie joined the training to improve the product photography for her own business. We began with basic lighting demonstrations, exploring how light interacts with shapes, materials, and surfaces.

She then learned how to balance flash and ambient light, experiment with dramatic low-key lighting, and gradually build a scene from a simple object to a complete visual atmosphere.

Through these exercises, Annie developed a clearer understanding of lighting control and product presentation. She was very satisfied with the results and gained greater confidence in creating images for her brand.

Case study – Lam – 1-to-1 Portrait photography training

One of the key lessons focuses on controlling white balance and achieving accurate color, while also demonstrating post-production possibilities and the visual impact of different lighting setups.
