In collaboration with Semba Design Firm and Ainz & Tulpe, I had the pleasure of photographing the new store at Mid Valley, Kuala Lumpur. The aim was to encapsulate the store’s modern elegance, its inviting atmosphere, and the wide range of beauty products available. This project presented a unique opportunity to showcase the synergy between cutting-edge retail design and the vibrant allure of Japanese beauty products.
Ainz & Tulpe is renowned for its curated selection of beauty products from Japan, and the store’s design reflects this high standard. Semba Design Firm crafted an interior that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing, emphasizing clean lines, bright lighting, and an organized layout. My goal was to capture these elements and convey the store’s inviting and luxurious atmosphere through my photography.
The exterior shot of Ainz & Tulpe’s Mid Valley store sets the tone for the photographic journey. The bright and welcoming facade, highlighted by the neon sign “Get it Beauty from Japan,” immediately catches the eye. The clean and modern aesthetic of the entrance, with its open design, invites customers to explore the treasures inside.
Stepping inside, the interior design exudes sophistication and warmth. The central feature of the store is the beautifully designed ceiling with its elegant lighting fixtures, which I captured to emphasize the ambient lighting that creates a warm and inviting shopping experience. The symmetry and alignment of the shelves, along with the product displays, were carefully photographed to highlight the organized and spacious layout.
A special focus was given to the product displays, particularly the Ayura section. The design firm’s meticulous attention to detail is evident in the custom-built displays and the soft lighting that enhances the products’ appeal. By capturing these elements, I aimed to showcase how Semba Design Firm has successfully created an environment that not only attracts customers but also encourages them to engage with the products.
This photography project for Ainz & Tulpe at Mid Valley, Kuala Lumpur, was a delightful experience. Working with Semba Design Firm and capturing the essence of the store was both challenging and rewarding. The photographs reflect the seamless blend of innovative design and the enchanting world of Japanese beauty products.
